Technological Disaster
The phone rang much too early that morning. Giles reached out,
over Xander's torso, and grabbed it from the nightstand. "Giles
speaking," he mumbled.
"What do they want?" Xander asked sleepily.
Giles listened and nodded. "All right then, call the necessary
people and let me know when it's fixed." Xander was rubbing sleep out
of his eye when Giles turned to him. "Seems like the entire computer
system has failed."
"The Council?" Xander asked unnecessarily.
"Security can't open doors for anyone to go in or out. They've no
idea how long it will take to fix." Giles grinned, shifting until he
was straddling Xander's hips. "I suppose we ought to make the most of
our unexpected late morning."
Xander's hands caressed their way to Giles' ass, forcing a shiver down his spine. "I could go for that."
Giles leaned forward, taking Xander's earlobe between his teeth. "I thought you would."
